The First Runner-Up for the 71st Miss World 2024 pageant is Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon.

Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska arrives on Miss World stage to crown her successor. Karolina chose a glamorous green sequinned gown featuring a strapless plunging neckline and a form-fitting silhoutte for the occasion.

India’s Sini Shetty did not make it to the Top 4. Meanwhile, Krystyna Pyszková of Czech Republic, Yasmina Zaytoun of Lebanon, Aché Abrahams of Trinidad and Tobago, and Lesego Chombo of Botswana are part of the Top 4 at the 71st Miss World pageant.

Krystyna Pyszková of Czech Republic won the Miss Europe title at the 71st Miss World pageant. Meanwhile, Yasmin Azaytoun of Lebanon won the Miss World Asia and Oceania title.

Aché Abrahams of Trinidad and Tobago won the Miss America and Caribbean title at the 71st Miss World pageant. Meanwhile, Lesego Chombo of Botswana won the Miss World Africa title.

Nita Ambani wins with the Miss World Humanitarian Award at the 71st Miss World 2024 pageant for her work at the Reliance Foundation, a non-profit organisation. Julia Morley CBE, the Chairwoman of the Miss World Organization, presented her with the award.

Africa – Lesego Chombo (Botswana), Hannah Karema (Uganda)

Europe – (Czech Republic), Jessica Ashley (England)

Asia – Sini Shetty (India), Yasmin Azaytoun (Lebanon)

India’s Sini Shetty has qualified into the Top 12 at the 71st Miss World pageant. Meanwhile, apart from India, beauty queens from these countries made it to the Top 10 – Brazil, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Botswana, Mauritius, Uganda, Czech Republic, England, Spain, Australia, India, and Lebanon.

Singers Neha Kakkar and Tony Kakkar enthralled the crowd with an electric performance. While Tony sang his hit Dheeme Dheeme, Neha performed Kala Chashma.

India representative Sini Shetty has made it to the Top 40. Apart from India, the other countries who made the list are Botswana, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, England, Lebanon, Canada, Dominican Republic, Peru, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Kenya, Cameroon, Madagascar, Mauritius, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Gibraltar, Italy, Spain, Wales, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Turkey among others.

Vietnam’s Huynh Phuong won the Multimedia Award at the Miss World 2024 pageant.

The cast of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heeramandi – Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Segal – attended the Miss World pageant to launch their first song ‘Sakal Ban’. The cast and the top 13 contestants of the Miss World walked the stage in opulent traditional Indian ensembles to the tune of the song.

Axelle René of Martinique is the winner of the Miss World Top Model Award.

The Miss World organisation has announced the winner of the Beauty With A Purpose Award. Leticia Frota from Brazil won the prestigious award. She is the ambassador for the Hansen’s Disease cause in her country and internationally. She educates people about the disease. She has also done some volunteer work in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and the Amazon, raising funds to take food and water to those in need.

Kriti Sanon has arrived at the Miss World 2024 pageant. The actor will judge the beauty pageant contestants along with Pooja Hegde and others. For the event, Kriti slipped into a strapless green gown featuring a peplum-style bodice, a mermaid silhouette, a train on the back, and a form-fitting silhouette. She styled the ensemble with matching green pumps, diamond and emerald jewels, a centre-parted messy bun, caramel lip shade, and minimal glam.

Pooja Hegde arrived at the Miss World 2024 pageant, dressed in a sequinned deep-neck gown. After posing for photos on the red carpet, Pooja sat down with the media to click a photo with them.

The origin of the Miss World competition can be linked to 1951 when Eric Morley organised a bikini pageant at the Festival of Britain. It was known as the Festival Bikini Contest. After receiving much attention from the British media, the pageant was renamed Miss World. In the first competition, Kerstin “Kiki” Hakansson of Sweden was crowned the first Miss World.

Reportedly, the Miss World pageant will have a 12-member judge panel, including Bollywood actors Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde, CEO of Miss World Organisation Julia Evelyn Morley CBE, Amruta Fadnavis, Sajid Nadiadwala, Harbhajan Singh, Rajat Sharma, Jamil Said, and Vineet Jain. Additionally, three Miss World titleholders will also be a part of the panel.

Sini Shetty, winner of the Miss India World 2022 title, hails from Karnataka and was born in Mumbai. She represented Karnataka during the Miss India World 2022 pageant. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and completed her Arangetram in Bharatanatyam when she was just 14 years old. She is pursuing CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), according to the ETimes.

Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Harbhajan Singh, who are a part of the 12-member judge panel at the Miss World 2024 competition, have arrived at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. The stars posed for the paparazzi on the red carpet in stunning gowns and sleek tuxedo.

Additionally, the Miss World 2019 title winner turned professional singer, Toni Ann Singh, is the special musical guest of the night and will perform the finale.
