Robert Griffin III on ESPN departure, NFL quarterbacks and more
Robert Griffin III is starting a new chapter in his media career. We talk with the former NFL quarterback about expectations for the upcoming season, and his partnership with Snickers.
The 2024 NFL season is officially underway.
The opening game on Thursday featured a rematch of last year’s AFC title game between the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs, while the Friday night game was a battle of NFC heavyweights between the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers in the league’s first-ever game in Brazil.
With no NFL games scheduled for Saturday, the action resumes Sunday afternoon, with eight games scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. ET. Some of the marquee matchups in this slate include the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the Miami Dolphins and the AFC South battle between the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts.
There are four games scheduled for the afternoon window Sunday, highlighted by the Dallas Cowboys traveling to Ohio to take on the Cleveland Browns. Sunday’s action comes to a close with a juicy Sunday Night Football matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions.
Week 1 comes to an end when the New York Jets travel to Levi’s Stadium to battle the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football in Aaron Rodgers’ first game since tearing his Achilles tendon last year.
Here’s a full list of announcers, channels and kickoff times for every remaining Week 1 NFL game.
