Watch livestream: Kansas City Chiefs visit the White House after 2024 Super Bowl win

The Kansas City Chiefs are visiting the White House Friday to celebrate their Super Bowl win.

USA TODAY is providing live coverage of this event, which is scheduled to begin Friday at 4:15 p.m. ET. You can watch the embedded video at the top of the page or on USA TODAY’s YouTube channel.

In February, the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime, clinching the championship title at the 2024 Super Bowl held in Las Vegas.

When the Chiefs visited the White House in 2023 after their last Super Bowl win, President Joe Biden called Patrick Mahomes “one of the greatest quarterbacks of his generation.”

There is no word if kicker Harrison Butker will attend the event. The team’s White House visit comes weeks after controversy over a commencement speech Butker made at Benedictine College, where he made comments against Biden, Pride Month, the COVID-19 pandemic, transgender people and diminished the role women play in society.

There has also been no confirmation if Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, will attend the event either. Swift is currently on the European leg of her Eras Tour.
