The highly anticipated Footscray Night Market is back, transforming summer evenings into a celebration of diverse cultures, mouth-watering cuisines, and lively entertainment.
Hosted at the Railway Reserve in Footscray, this event promises three unforgettable Fridays in December filled with family-friendly fun.
The Night Market kicks off with Asian Night on 1 December, showcasing a vibrant fusion of flavours and cultural performances. Explore the rich tapestry of Asian cuisine and immerse yourself in a night of unforgettable experiences – lion dancing, Bollywood dancing, dynamic Japanese drumming performances and a captivating show by the Korean Dance Archery Crew.
The second installation will take place on 8 December with Afro-Latin Night, a rhythmic celebration of Afro and Latin cultures. Immerse yourself in the beats, dance, and flavours that will transport you to a world of lively energy and joyful vibes. Interactive workshops for drumming and Afro-Latin dance are sure to delight the crowd this week.
The grand finale – our ‘Christmas Night’ on 15 December – will wrap up the Footscray Night Market with a festive spirit. Experience the magic of the season with Princess on Skates, a Christmas circus show, delightful treats and more.
Each market night will also feature roving performers, free face painting, and a bouncy castle for the little ones.
