Tracking top prospects at USA Basketball, Nike EYBL weekend events

We have had a ton of stories and coverage from last week’s Nike EYBL stop in Indianapolis. Some of those stories are linked below.

The fourth and final Nike EYBL session is this weekend in Kansas City. Teams will be playing to solidify their position for the Nike Peach Jam, held in July in North Augusta, S.C.

More top prospects are also participating in the USA Basketball 18U training camp in Colorado. Twenty-eight players are competing for 12 spots to represent the U.S. in the 2024 FIBA U18 Men’s AmeriCup June 3-9 in Buenos Aires. Key Ohio State targets like 2025 guards Jerry Easter and Trey McKenney are participating in that camp. Click here for an early report of top performers there.

Most players will attend high school team and individual events during the month of June with travel events to continue in July.

Here are some key June events on the calendar:

* June 1-3 – adidas Eurocamp in Treviso, Italy. Key OSU 2025 prospects Darryn Peterson and Niko Bundalo will participate.

* June 3 — Summer semester starts at OSU. Freshmen Colin White and John Mobley Jr. figure to enroll then. Most or all of the incoming transfers should also be on campus to begin classes and workouts.

* June 6-7 – Ohio State team camp at the Schottenstein Center. The two-day camp attracts a number of the top high school programs in Ohio and the region for games on the main court and inside the two practice gyms.

* June 8-13 — NBPA Top 100 camp in Orlando. College coaches can attend and evaluate many of the nation’s top 2025 and 2026 prospects.

* June 14 – USA Basketball U17 tryouts for the team selected to play in the FIBA World Championships begin. Peterson figures to participate on this team after playing for the U16 team last year.

* June 28-30 — Midwest Live at Cedar Point Sports Center in Sandusky. High schools from Ohio, Michigan and surrounding states will participate.
