Mondays Best ESPN Bets: College Basketball, NHL, Monday Night Football

We had another great day of picks with the Browns ML and Vikings/Broncos Under 42.5 covering, another 2-1. Texas looked completely out of sync against Louisville and never had a shot at covering the -17.5. Anyways, we are now 8-4 overall.

Today we have probably one of the most action-packed sport’s days remaining this year. First off, it is Feast Week in college basketball, one of the most popular weeks of the college hoops calendar outside of the actual NCAA Tournament. Though I will only be giving one college basketball game pick today, there are some matchups I will have my eyes on.

The Maui Invitational this year has to be one of the most stacked tournaments we have seen on the islands. Kansas, Purdue, Marquette, Gonzaga and Tennessee are all Top 15 and will have long runs in March. UCLA and Syracuse are lesser teams but should still play solid in this tournament. These games will be played at Stan Sheriff Center on the campus of the University of Hawaii and not the Lahaina Civic Center, which is still being used for disaster relief after the deadly wildfires.

Look for Tennessee and Marquette to cover while Purdue may have their hands full with Gonzaga, so expect a ton of points in that game.

With the college basketball game I am targeting today, don’t expect a lot of points in this one. Now onto the picks!

Wisconsin vs Virginia (-3.5) O/U 125 Fort Myers Tipoff 6 pm on FSI

Despite all of the great games we will get today at the Maui Invitational, I am turning to the Fort Myers Tipoff for what could be one of the most offensive games of the day.

Both Wisconsin and Virginia are both known for playing great defense and being limited in some games on the offensive end. So, what happens when both of these teams meet on a neutral court in Florida? A rock fight is going to break out.

I will be surprised if either of these teams even get to 60 points in this game. 50 points might even be a stretch. That is why I am taking the Under 125 in this matchup.

New York Rangers at Dallas Stars (-135) O/U 5.5 8 pm on ESPN+

For my first pick on the ice, I’m targeting a game which should be one of the best in the NHL Monday night. The Rangers come into this game 5-1 in the month of November and winners of 4 straight. They make the trip to Dallas Monday before heading to Pittsburgh on Wednesday night in the Penguins traditional game the night before Thanksgiving.
The Stars have been one of the best teams again in the Western Conference this year after making it all the way to the Western Conference Finals. In the month of November, they are 6-3 but they have been very good at home this year.

Dallas is currently only 4-3 at home, while they are dominated away from home going 7-1-1. Rangers actually have the same road record as the Stars this year. That is why I am taking the Rangers as a slight underdog in this matchup.

Rangers ML +114, New York Rangers 3 Dallas Stars 2

Philadelphia Eagles at Kansas City Chiefs (-3) 8:15 pm on ESPN

What could overshadow a Super Bowl rematch on Monday Night Football? Well, The Kelce and The Swift parents meeting at the game of course! But who really cares about that? Unless you are betting Travis Kelce receiving yards and to score a touchdown with Taylor Swift and her parents in the house, which I will be doing in this game.

Getting to the game, the Eagles still have a bad taste in their mouth after dropping last year’s Super Bowl to the Chiefs in arguably one of the most exciting Big Games we have had in a few years. Hopefully the field holds up this time in Arrowhead.

Both of these teams are coming off a bye week. Everyone loves to say Andy Reid’s teams are great off the bye week. And that may be true, but the Eagles are out for revenge and I believe they get it done tonight. Look for D’Andre Swift to get back in the groove he was in earlier in the year but look for Kenneth Gainwell to steal one of his potential touchdowns. Gainwell is at +475 to score tonight.

I believe the Eagles exact their revenge on the Chiefs. My play will be Eagles +3, but I do believe they will win the game outright.

Eagles cover +3, Philadelphia Eagles 27 Kansas City Chiefs 23
