The Los Angeles Chargers are fresh off a Monday night defeat at the hands of John Harbaugh and the Baltimore Ravens. Now, they get another bird team, the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13 as both teams look to maintain pace in their respective conference playoff races.

The Atlanta Falcons do have an advantage. Not only are they playing at home, but they are coming off their bye week, while the Chargers are playing on a short week. All signs are pointing to a massive win for Atlanta, but Jim Harbaugh’s Chargers are a tough bunch. Maybe they can prove everyone wrong.

Lorenzo Reyes: Chargers 26, Falcons 20

The Falcons are coming off their bye, but they are still so inconsistent, that it’s tough to back them. L.A., meanwhile, played the Ravens tough and the Chargers cannot afford to go on a losing streak. Ultimately, I think it’s the Charger defense and physicality that puts Los Angeles over the edge.

Tyler Dragon: Chargers 23, Falcons 20

The Falcons are coming off a bye and should be rested. The Chargers have only defeated one team with a winning record. Los Angeles has the NFL’s top-scoring defense, but they’ve allowed at least 30 points in back-to-back games. Look for Jim Harbaugh’s team to have a bounce-back game.

Richard Morin: Falcons 28, Chargers 27

There are a lot of reasons to think the Chargers will avenge a tough loss on Monday Night Football. But it’s a short week, they’re on the road and the Falcons are coming off a bye and should have some urgency about making a run at the NFC South.

Jordan Mendoza: Chargers 20, Falcons 18

Before the bye, Atlanta wasn’t looking all that great. Los Angeles’ defense will want to get back to domination after last week, and they power through for a win.
