We’ve all been looking for our next escapade and Google has compiled a list of destinations that are reigning supreme on our minds! There are both perennial favourites and emerging hotspots in the list of top 20 destinations for the summer.

London Tops The Chart

Europe reigns supreme in the early rankings, with London taking the coveted number one spot. Perhaps it’s the allure of the upcoming Paris Olympics, but the City of Lights follows closely behind. Tokyo surges in popularity, jumping to the number three spot, as travellers seek a taste of Japan’s dynamic culture. Rome and New York round out the top five, solidifying their status as must-visit destinations.

Cultural Destinations Are Also In Vogue

For those seeking something off the beaten path, the list offers exciting new possibilities. Athens, with its rich history, and Madrid, Spain‘s vibrant capital, are attracting growing interest. Dublin, the Emerald Isle’s cultural heart, and Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s yachting haven, are also on the list.

There are tropical destinations like Honolulu, the crown jewel of Hawaii and San Juan, Puerto Rico’s lively capital city, both offering a blend of culture and stunning beaches. But summer wanderlust isn’t limited to established tourist hubs. Cancun beckons with its pristine beaches and turquoise waters, while Orlando promises family-friendly fun at its world-famous theme parks. Las Vegas, the city that never sleeps, is another permanent fixture on the list. Seattle, nestled amidst the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty, offers a unique blend of urban exploration and outdoor adventure.
