Cricket Betting Gangs Busted in Hyderabad on World Cup Finals Day | Hyderabad News – Times of India

Hyderabad: Two gangs were busted by the Task Force sleuths on the cricket world cup finals day for operating betting rackets.
The members of the first gang were arrested from Sikh village for indulging in online cricket betting activity on Sunday night. Police seized `40,000 cash from the accused. Cops also wrote to the banks to freeze `3.42 lakh in the bank accounts of the accused.
The second gang was nabbed for organising cricket betting with the guidance of a main bookie, Prasad, of Miyapur.
Police seized `79,000 cash and two cell phones from the accused. Prasad is on the run. TNN
