Sports Seriously
For months, smokescreens and perceived uncertainty have radiated from 32 NFL front offices. All is set to become clear on Thursday night with the start of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Only the first of seven rounds will get underway on Thursday with the first 32 picks of this year’s draft. Rounds 2 and 3 will take place Friday with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday. Draft order for the first round has been decided by each team’s record from the 2023 NFL season with strength of schedule as a tiebreaker.
This year, almost every team has a first-round pick. That includes the Los Angeles Rams, who have not made a first-round selection since taking quarterback Jared Goff with the first overall pick in 2016. Heading into draft night, only three teams do not have their first-round selection thanks to trades in previous years.
Here’s how the full first-round draft order stacks up heading into Thursday night.
